The Mountain Dogs was founded in the Stockholm archipelago in the late summer of 2008.
The name, The Mountain Dogs, was chosen under that very trip to the archipelago, where the band members witnessed a cocky bream harrassing a mountain dog, dockside.
In 2009, the first two songs, Drinks and wine, and Country was created. As a result of the obvious lack of musical talent, the songs were written as fast, simple and “catchy” as possible.
Today, The Mountain Dogs have 15 songs and have performed several times at places in Stockholm like Debaser, Alcazar, Trädgården and Stampen. Later this spring a EP with four songs will be available.
